Cold Hand Luke (Hypothermia & Water Safety)

Objectives

  1. Students will learn what to do if they find themselves in a cold water situation.
  2. Students will be aware of just how important it is to wear a life jacket or personal flotation device (PFD) when around cold water, but that alone will not save your life.
  3. Students will be able to name two methods of conserving body heat when in a cold water situation.
